David M. Nudell, MD
Dr. Nudell received his M.D. degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine, then completed his urologic residency at the University of California, San Francisco. While there, he published extensively on male reproduction in both clinical and basic science areas. He then completed the most prestigious fellowship in male reproductive medicine and microsurgery (at Baylor College of Medicine) with Dr. Larry Lipshultz. During his fellowship, Dr. Nudell was directly involved in the treatment of over 1000 infertile couples and helped complete over 200 microsurgical vasectomy reversals. He also completed over 200 sperm harvesting procedures and 300 microsurgical varicocele repairs. Dr. Nudell uses the operating microscope on all infertility surgery cases. He offers complete evaluation of the male, all microsurgical techniques and all laboratory techniques necessary to assist in a couple's reproductive efforts. Dr. Nudell works closely with all of the reproductive gynecologists in the area.
"My goals are to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment while remaining sensitive to the fact that reproductive problems can be frustrating and stressful for the couple. I try to educate the couple on what is available rather than make outright medical decisions for them. The treatment of infertility requires a close relationship between the physicians involved and the patients."
